Today 30th May is our remembrance day of our hero’s who give there lives for us to live as a Biafrans. We remember them today and if it happen I die today never mind Biafra must come and we will be free even in the land of diet. Because Biafra freedom has come. – Biafran – Photo below


BIAFRAN DAY speech delivered by Mazi Onye-Eze on the 30th May 2014.

How can we forget,how we were subjected to a 30 months gruesome war,blockaded air,land and sea,yet biafra fought on.

How can we forget,the starvation that ravished our people,the celebrated kwashiokor cases that killed our children in their millions not sparing adults as well.

How can we forgot the roles played by the imperial british govt in supplying sophisticated weapons of mass destruction to the federal troops even when it was all glaring that the weapons were been used in the extermination of a race.

How can we forgot the incessant bombardments of biafras holed up in refuge centers in total disregard to international accepted rules of engagement.

How can we forget how our young boys were brutally cut down in their primes defending their father land.

How can we forget how the victorious federal troops carted away our women as war trophies to the far north,those who refused to follow them were brutally murdered,in a bid to avoid the marauding randy soldiers,many of our women deform themselves,others became overnight mad women,all in the bid to look unattractive to them.

most of the women never returned till date.

How can we forget the atrocities committed against us yet we pushed on,soldiered on like the brave people we are.

I remember one of the songs that was popular during the rebellion”we are soldiers,soldiers of the cross,in the name of jesus we shall conquer”
their victory is temporary,we shall have the last laugh.

We refuse to forget and shall never forget,Biafra lives on in our heart,any Igbo son or daughter that would want to quickly wish biafra away,lives in self denial.

MAY 30th,Remembering the Biafrans that died,1967-1970 defending our land,they died that we might live.

 Today is declared Biafrans memorial day. This is a step Federal Government Refused to take,atleast to call it any chosen name,to spare the memories of our past heroes who died in their desperate quest to bear witness to Saner Humanity. Today,the abandoned have taken a step to Respect the sacrificial memories of those who paid with sorrows, the ultimate price. Biafrans did something for something.To guide our today. It is a pity, our government does not place values on those sacrifices. Why? Because we learn nothing,except forces that add and reduce values on Crude oil. My father survived that very war,not because He was smarter than others that lost lives,but at least I believe,maybe there was a need to give birth to me through Him. So we were,so we live to champion the course of common sense. We must live for something. We must upgrade our heritage. We were in that shit together,and outside the shit,we were together,although there was a time we were not together,and that’s a history we refuse to place value on. Are we stronger now together? Is our strenght on Arms and Amunition or on Our positive Resolves in our Brotherhood? If on Arms, it is the worst form of Union,the most vicious form of Brotherhood,and most helpless view of Humanity. I believe in the gift of our Oness.But I believe in Our Creativity towards intentionally and consciously defining how our oness can survive our Weakness and Negative Energy. I raise my hands in my tiny room applauding the acts,tacts,bravery and sacrifices of our fallen heroes who fought on the side of Biafra like my Father, Martin Udeogu and others on the side of Nigeria whose aims were logically sane. And I pray, may God forgive Sinners in that very Tragedy that has survived today’s efforts to say Never-Again. May we the Children of decades after the War find wisdom to drive better in this generation of History of Thorns left for us to put in perspective! God Bless Nigeria!
